A single-story villa organized around a central courtyard pool, designed to mediate the intensity of the desert climate. Deep overhangs, thick rammed-earth walls, and orientation-specific glazing keep interiors cool without heavy reliance on mechanical systems.
The material palette, board-formed concrete, raw plaster, and native stone, was chosen to weather gracefully and blend into the surrounding landscape over time.
